iGE - A Comprehensive Course in English Grammar
iGE, short for the Interactive Grammar of English, is a complete introductory course in English grammar that covers the most basic elements to the most complex constructions. Developed by UCL Business PLC, a team of linguists at University College London, iGE is designed for mobile devices to cater to the needs of busy teachers and students.
The course is based on real English examples taken from the 1M word ICE-GB Corpus, compiled and analyzed at UCL and used by linguistics researchers across the world. It demonstrates that grammatical concepts apply to all uses of the English language, not just so-called 'Good' or 'Correct' English.
